Derya Ferendeci has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

Derya Ferendeci has wide range of experience in the process automation industry since 1991, specializing in the design and implementation of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) software for networking and interfacing between the systems of various control systems manufacturers.

This expertise includes real-time interface programming and networking between Distributed Control Systems and peripheral devices such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) and intelligent field transmitters, and programming of layered software products for Plant Information Management Systems.

Numerous projects have been implemented for both domestic and international customers by FES Engineering Services.

Recently, FES has been investigating the possibility of investing in solar energy projects in the Republic of Turkey.
